[Journal]
For anyone's interest: This is Samasu, Sadame, and I'll be communicating through here from now on.
I'm sure some people may have questions as to my current appearance, but I have no need or desire to preconceive what those may be, so if you have something to ask, then please, do so.
However, to at least make something fairly clear as a formal announcement: I will be stepping down from the position of Osiris Red Male Dorm Supervisor, with Samasu Shian taking on full responsibilities concerning this. If any students have questions concerning guidance, please direct them in their direction. Otherwise, I will be continuing my position as History Teacher at Duel Academy until further notice.
Thank you for understanding.

Re: [Event]
Oh. Right. Precognition. [ He sighs, amusedly. ]
You're... surprisingly affable considering the last time we spoke. Not that I'm complaining.
[ He will take the expresso offered, for sure. ]
Before we get started, how're you holding up in the wake of everything.
Re: [Event]
And I'm also staving off the urge to sleep for a week to attempt to catch up on the abject lack of it that existed in one lifetime, while also being wary of the point that a mad queen is going to track me down and set me aflame, while also being confident that it won't happen anytime soon.
So, you know... Pretty well, overall. *sipping*
Re: [Event]
I feel the desire to sleep for a week, if nothing else. I'm glad you're acclimating well. I'm not surprised there's a lot of wary and panic considering that's, uh. What I feel right now.
[ He drops into his chair, an exhausted grin. ]
So. Where do we even start...
Re: [Event]
I can tell you as much that one lifetime I had, I've been under a geas that restricts my ability to go into detail, but the merger has weakened it somewhat.
Re: [Event]
Based on your estimates of Queen Suzume's capabilities, how much trouble do we remain in, there. I can take some guesses as to what she wants. Question of course is how much does she have at her disposal to take it from us.
Re: [Event]
To set the stage, I need to say: she is doted upon, ultimately. In all the ways that would make this worse for us.
Re: [Event]
[ Slow sip of the coffee, you can see the gears turning in his brain. ]
Seems like an obvious question, but I still gotta ask it - comparing what might I can scrap together, even if I got me, our Shikou, Shiyoko on a good brain day, and maybe a couple other of our brightest - in terms of military versus military, we're straight fucked, right?
Re: [Event]
I can't say the how. But I can say that she's been preparing for what she wants to achieve for much longer than you're personally estimating.
Now, of course, one of her concerns was that someone would catch on enough to try to stop her. But I don't expect her to listen or submit without trying to take anyone else down with her.
Re: [Event]
...If she was concerned someone would try and stop her then it seems reasonable to assume part of this plan has a lynchpin that can be disrupted by sufficient tactical applications of force. Does that seem correct to you? I know how much you can divulge is... tenuous.
Re: [Event]
She does believe in a more... peaceful option than what Queen Suzume wants. And Noriko has the direct support of the person closest to her.
Which... can be a good or a bad thing on any given day, but it means that the situation isn't entirely hopeless.
Re: [Event]
I guess this escalates to the next option: How do we stop her. She has the edge on us in planning time and equipment, she will presumably stop at very little to achieve her ambitions given, I presume, her own universe is on the line, and we need at minimum a stopgap to slow her down until cooler heads prevail, and at maximum a way to overcome whatever biggest pieces she's going to throw on the board.
What's our victory condition, Sadame? Other than hoping the Norikos can figure something out.
Re: [Event]
*finishing the espresso before continuing*
The ideal "victory" condition is that neither world decays. The problem is that despite the urgency Queen Suzume's world is in, this world is in much the same position, thanks to an incident that occurred.
Noriko. Norikos. Have been trying to find a "donor" world. A place that's distinct enough from either worlds that it's been able to develop without being "pruned", and is able to give, essentially, a blood transfusion. This will not damage that world, but instead connect it as a lifeline. The problem is its rarity.
